Meet Dr. Lance Q. Bruntz, DMD, MSD

I’m fortunate to be in a profession that transforms lives on a daily basis! Having a great smile is important to many people. It instills self confidence, promotes personal pride, enhances overall health and is many times the first thing people notice when they meet you. It truly is rewarding to help so many people in this way. I’m also blessed to have a great supporting team to help share in my passion as well. We pride ourselves on great customer service and the highest quality of orthodontics we can deliver. We look forward to helping create the perfect smile for you!

As a native Nevadan, I was born in Yerington and raised in Carson City where I graduated from Carson High School. I earned my Bachelors degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, graduating with distinction. I then received my Doctorate with honors from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. As part of my continuing education, I was granted the award for Exceptional Interest in the Development of the Oro-Facial Complex by the American Association of Orthodontics in 2001. Additionally, I was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society. Upon completion of my dental degree, I attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio to complete my residency in Orthodontics and was granted my Masters degree in dentistry after defending my thesis.

Our practice is known for delivering the most advanced, leading edge orthodontics available. To keep on top of this ever-changing technology, we make it a priority to attend as many local and national orthodontic and dental meetings as possible. I am an active member of the American Dental Association and the Northern Nevada Dental Society. I also served as a delegate to the Northern Nevada Dental Association for 10 years. Most proudly, I am a Top 1% Provider of Invisalign in the nation! This is a very prestigious distinction given to the most experienced and knowledgeable users of Invisalign. It has taken many years of training, study clubs, and continuing education, but now I am very comfortable treating almost any type of patient using this awesome technology.

I love coming to work everyday. My favorite part is seeing how excited patients are to get started in treatment and how enthusiastic they are the day they get them off. It’s also fun to see how kids grow and change into young adults, as well as witnessing the overwhelming joy some adults have as we give them the smile they have always wished for. We have a terrific staff that loves to take care of our patients. They receive numerous compliments on a daily basis of how nice they are and how much it shows that they love what they do. Invisalign is an integral part of our practice. We are one of the most experienced Invisalign providers in the nation and have helped develop this space age technology to help align teeth. Further, we are among the most experienced providers of Invisalign in Nevada, as well as the entire country. We are classified as a Top 1% provider of Invisalign, indicating we are very experienced in treating all types of patients and bites using this awesome technology. These revolutionary technologies really have motivated me to become a better orthodontist and makes me proud knowing that I’m creating the best smile and healthiest bite possible in the shortest time. In my residency program, I never thought I would be using 3D computer software, robotics, and space-age wires and plastics to create personalized smiles. Orthodontics has really changed in just a matter of years!

My wife, Tracy, and I have a son, Landon, and daughter, Carrigan. We also have our first child (our Beagle) named Nyobi. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities including golf, wakeboarding, mountain biking, running, camping, hiking, snow skiing and snowboarding. My favorite activity though is spending time with my kids. I love having fun with them and watching them grow and advance in life. From reading Harry Potter to them both, to teaching them how to ski and wakeboard, to coaching them in soccer, to helping them in school and more; children are definitely what life is worth living for!

Meet Dr. Daniel K. Walton, DDS, MS

Orthodontics is an exciting and rewarding profession and I feel lucky to be a part of it. I became interested in orthodontics at a young age because I loved how science and art were used together to create beautiful smiles and provide a lifelong service to patients. It’s great being able to interact with my patients every day. I love seeing the positive changes that take place and the confidence they gain as I help create the smile they’ve always wanted.

I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, but moved to the States to attend college at Brigham Young University. After graduating with honors from BYU’s School of Business I attended dental school at the University of California San Francisco where I was awarded the Regent Scholarship, the highest recognition awarded to entering dental students. I completed my orthodontic specialty training with a three-year residency at The Ohio State University where I received my Master of Science in Orthodontics.

The orthodontic field is continually changing and new technologies provide new and better methods for improving peoples’ smiles. At Orthodontic Partners, we are committed to being leaders in these technologies and methods. We regularly attend continuing education courses that reinforce fundamental orthodontic principles and keep us abreast of new emerging technologies.

My favorite part of coming to work is interacting with patients and their families. I love seeing the confidence that comes to children and adults as they are rewarded with a new and improved smile. It’s fun to get to know these kids and see them grow throughout the process. I work with an amazing group of skilled and motivated staff who work hard to make sure our patients have the best orthodontic experience possible. The use of technology in the office helps us treat patients more efficiently, comfortably and esthetically. Invisalign and ceramic brackets provide esthetic options for patients without compromising quality of care. Suresmile technology helps provide more accurate and detailed finishes in fewer appointments and less overall time. Intraoral scanners eliminate the need for many of our impressions, providing a more comfortable experience for patients. All of these technologies make it fun to come to work each day!

Family is the most important part of my life and my greatest source of happiness. My wife, Sarah, and I have four children; Annie, Leah, James and Kate. We love to travel and visit family as much as possible, but when we’re home you’ll most likely find us up at the lake in the summer, on the slopes in the winter, or at our children’s various sporting events and performances all year round. I love photography and videography, which means all of these family activities are always thoroughly documented. I also love music and enjoy playing the piano and guitar.
